Enjoy a refreshing nature tour at Sa Nang Manora Forest Park because there are so many natural attractions that it is almost impossible to visit them all. There are wild forests, mountains, and caves to visit that are unique. Sa Nang Manora Forest Park is a tourist attraction in the Khao Thoi and Khao Nang Hong forest areas, under the care of the Royal Forest Department. There is an entrance fee.
Lamphan Khao, Wa Hin, Takhian Samphon, Samo Nam, Mai Pru, Sok Nam, Phai Phak, Phai Kriap are the names of species of trees that can be found in the forest park. Phang Nga people like to come here to relax on holidays and play in the water all year round. There is a nature study trail that is more than 2 kilometers long. You can see a shell cave with fossils embedded in the limestone and there is also a camping area available.
Tham Pla is a small cave with a stream flowing in the cave, Tham Hoy is a medium-sized cave with thousands of years old shell fossils, Tham Kang Kaw is a cave tens of meters deep with many bats. You can observe wildlife such as macaques, green birds, and orange-bellied bird.
The road into the Sa Nang Manora Forest Park is shady with palm and rubber plantations on both sides. Dont forget to bring cash for the park entrance fee, or you might end up withdrawing money from an ATM like I did.
