Million Toy Museum and the Good Mood Gallery of Koerk Yoonpun, a source of happiness and 'Naive Art' in Ayutthaya, was founded by a professor and does not only have "toys" but also reflects the history of Pop Culture through collectibles that evoke the past. It was inspired by a trip to the Kitahara Tin Toy Museum in Japan over 30 years ago.
sookjai holiday has arrived. Look for tin toys first, which is the golden age of toys in the world. There are robots, cars, and classic cartoon characters that are hard to find. The price is priceless. In addition, it collects models of world-famous cartoon characters such as Ultraman, Superman, Arale, Doraemon, and Astro Boy, all of which clearly reflect the "pop" culture of each era.
Don't forget that you can take pictures here as you please. There are also ancient Thai collectibles, old Thai utensils such as glassware, chicken bowls, old radios, and old textbooks.
The building is airy, without air conditioning, but with fans and natural wind, surrounded by a shady garden, giving the feeling of visiting a kind grandfather's house. Open 09.00 - 16.00 hrs., closed on Mondays only. Anyone who likes to enjoy art and yearn for the past, this is a landmark not to be missed in Ayutthaya. You will see both "Naive Art" from Ajarn Koerk's brush and "Pop Culture History" through the toys that he has collected throughout his life.
