Travel and preparation:
Travel: Take a ferry or speedboat at Klong Jilad Pier (Mueang Krabi District). Ticket prices are approximately 450 - 600 baht per trip. It takes approximately 1.5 - 2 hours.
On the island: When you arrive at Phi Phi Don Island, you can walk or rent a local long-tail boat to travel to various bays as you like, such as Nui Bay or Rantee Bay, which are quieter than going with a tour group.
Viewpoint: It is recommended to start walking up around 4:30 PM to reach the top of the mountain when the weather is not hot and in time to see the evening light.
