Chill Weekend! Stroll along the Bang Pakong Riverside, Take Beautiful Photos from the City Pillar Shrine to the Old City Walls of Paet Riu When it comes to holidays in Paet Riu, many people may only think of visiting Luang Pho Sothon Temple. But did you know that the atmosphere along the Bang Pakong River in the evening or on holidays is extremely chill? I, Sookjai, would like to invite everyone to try a change of scenery and "stroll along the riverside" on a peaceful and charming route, starting at the Chachoengsao City Pillar Shrine, which is located next to Phutthasothon Hospital.
This starting point is a prime location for viewing the Bang Pakong River because the sidewalk is wide, and the cool breeze blows constantly, making it ideal for leisurely strolls. If you like taking pictures, you will definitely love it because the sunlight reflecting on the blue water and the cleanliness of the towering City Pillar Shrine in the background are elements that make the photos look beautiful and powerful.
The highlight that I, Sookjai, would like to recommend is walking along the riverside towards the entrance to the old city. This route will take us along until we reach the old city walls of Paet Riu (which are currently located in the provincial government housing area). These red brick walls, which are still intact and well-maintained, are historical traces that reflect the strength of Chachoengsao in the past.
Walking this route will allow us to see a different perspective of Paet Riu, combining faith, nature, and history within a short walking distance. Whether you are a chill person looking for a place to sit and enjoy the breeze, or a content creator looking for cool photo spots, this Bang Pakong riverside route is the perfect answer for this holiday!
