Wat Pak Nam Cholo

Wat Pak Nam Cholo is located on the banks of the Bang Pakong River in Bang Khla District. It is uniquely distinguished by its entirely golden-colored Ubosot (ordination hall), the only one of its kind in Thailand. The architecture is elaborate and reflects sunlight, appearing very majestic. A highlight that merit-makers should not miss is walking under the base of the principal Buddha image to enhance good fortune and ward off bad things, according to ancient beliefs. The temple also has a peaceful atmosphere, with cool river breezes blowing throughout the day, making it ideal for worship and photographing the most beautiful and magnificent Buddhist art in Paet Riu.
