Delicious Phuket takes you to roadside cafes. It has long been known that the culture of drinking tea and coffee is a daily way of life for southerners. Nowadays, wherever you go, you will find cafes, which are different from the cafes of the past, where singers used to offer glittering garlands. But nowadays it has become a coffee shop, selling coffee, tea, and matcha. Especially girls these days, if they have free time on Saturdays and Sundays, they will only go to cafes.
Phuket is a city where cafes are booming. Whether walking around the city, riding up the mountain, or taking a boat to the middle of the sea, you will only find cafes. Don't even mention human cafes, there are even dog cafes!
Roof pudding and cafe
The first shop is Roof pudding and cafe with a cool atmosphere inside the Sino-Portuguese building, which was built since the reign of King Rama V, when various roads were built until a commercial market was created in the center of Phuket. Although it has been decorated, it still has the atmosphere of an old, dilapidated building because it has been around for a long time, with a new renovation to have a fountain inside the shop for tourists to sit and chill, escape the heat from walking around taking photos in groups, such as Romanee Lane or other alleys in the Phuket Old Town area.
The SunDeck
If you have a vehicle, driving along to Kata Karon Beach is not difficult. If driving from Kata Beach towards Promthep Cape, you will pass a cute little cafe on the mountain called The SunDeck, a modern style cafe located on the climbing route to Promthep Cape, before reaching the Sam Ao Viewpoint. You can sit and look at the blue sea for a long time from a high angle. Inside the cafe, the music is upbeat and lively. Drinks may be a bit expensive, but that's not a problem. In the evening, you can stop by for alcoholic drinks as it is open as a pub from the evening onwards.
Heaven
Next to the Sam Ao Viewpoint, there is a small restaurant called Heaven. You can go in for a drink (without ordering food) and look at the sea view, which is a beautiful Sam Ao Viewpoint (but Sookjai went to eat Rad Na on the holiday because they arrived when they were hungry).
Oasis (Talang)
Returning from Kata Karon, don't forget to stop by Oasis (Talang) (but not an oasis like in Spielberg's Ready Player One movie). They have pierced commercial buildings in the old town area to go through from one road to another, becoming a souvenir market in the middle of the city, decorated to become a forest area with many trees, and inside is also a cafe. You can order drinks and sit at various points.
Chamcha Market
For those who come to visit and often wake up early, wanting to drink Kopi in the atmosphere of the morning market, which is a local coffee style, or wanting to drink milk tea, the type with almost half a glass of condensed milk, you can travel to Chamcha Market, which is a source of food for the townspeople, another local market where Phuket people like to buy food and fish in the morning.
