As for Luang Pho Kesorn, he floated in the water and got stuck at the pier in front of the temple, so they called it "Wat Tha Phra" instead of the original name.
Luang Pho Kesorn, a Buddha image from the early Ayutthaya period, is believed to be a sibling of Luang Pho Wat Ban Laem and Luang Pho Sothon because they have a history of floating in the water and landing at the pier in front of the temple as well.
