Khun Muang Jai Cafe, delicious Ayutthaya, Sookjai holiday, stumbled upon this shop by chance. While riding a motorcycle touring and taking pictures on the island of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, it was so hot that I stopped by to sip milk tea in a small cafe next to Wat Khun Muang Jai, sitting and listening to music in an air-conditioned room and only sipping milk tea because I quit drinking coffee many years ago.
But anyone passing by can choose from a variety of menus to order.
Nowadays, there are many cafes everywhere, more than Seven-Eleven. Each shop tries to find a location, shop name, and unique selling points to attract customers. This Khun Muang Jai shop is located next to an ancient site, Wat Khun Muang Jai, where you can sit and sip hot and cold drinks while looking at the large chedi.
Importantly, the price of drinks is not expensive at all. I don't know if they make enough to cover the electricity bill for the air conditioner, but I sat there for 2 days and saw customers parking and ordering drinks regularly, both sitting and drinking at the shop and buying to take home.
