Soi Nana Yaowarat, a new nightlife destination in Bangkok for those who love drinking, music and nightlife. Nana has been a colorful part of Bangkok for some time. For the alley in the Yaowarat area, which is full of old commercial buildings, this magical place with a strange charm has been shown in the Netflix documentary (Eat, Travel, Dance, Episode Bangkok, Thailand) not long ago and is now known all over the world.
Sookjai Weekend first got to know Soi Nana when viewing a CMYK color handprint exhibition by Kaisak Chirachaisakul, which was held in an old building in this alley. At night, there were not many shops open. It was still a quiet alley with only shops open during the day. But come and see now, both sides of the road, even in the small alleys that branch off, there are many bars, restaurants, and dessert shops. And there is even a dentist.
Many liquor bars are available to choose from, with each shop renovating old buildings to have different charms. For the shop that Sookjai Weekend chose to sit and chill at is (can't remember the name exactly, but it should be...) Biscuit. This shop uses both the ground floor and the mezzanine of the old commercial building (which is not very wide) as a space to welcome customers, creating a pleasant atmosphere with chill electronic music, focusing on selling cocktails by the glass rather than by the bottle. Just tell them the taste you want and the bartender will arrange which cocktail the customer should drink and like. Try ordering Kofta Meatballs served with potato chips to fill your stomach...
Sookjai Weekend recommends it for those who love nightlife and are looking for new tourist attractions in Bangkok.
