K. Kin Pla, a delicious seafood restaurant in Paet Riu. sookjai Holiday has written about delicious restaurants on Thep Khunakon Road, the road that passes in front of Luang Por Sothon Temple, many times. This time, I stayed at Sunee View again and had the opportunity to taste the seafood at this restaurant because it is right opposite the entrance to the accommodation. In the evening, I didn't know which restaurant to try, so I chose this one opposite, it's close.
At first, I was just going to have a bowl of congee and rush to my room to rest because I had been traveling since early morning and hadn't had enough sleep, as is the nature of a health-conscious child who is growing up and needs to sleep a lot and eat a lot, haha.
In the end, I ordered two bowls of seafood congee, followed by Yum Si Sahai (Four Friends Salad). (I ordered the latter to take pictures for publication in sookjai Holiday. After taking the pictures, I asked the staff to put it in a box and put it in the refrigerator in my room. I woke up at 2 AM and devoured it all. It was really delicious.)
The seafood congee is full of seafood from the Gulf of Thailand. Big prawns, squid, and thick slices of fish. The fragrant rice has thinly sliced ginger in it. The fermented soybean sauce is extremely flavorful, with a leading sour taste, followed by sweet, salty, and satisfyingly spicy.
Yum 4 Sahai (Four Friends Salad) comes with a complete gang: blue crab, prawns, squid, and fish roe. Mixed with mango, it's sour-leading, sweet, salty, and spicy in a rounded way. It's delicious! This is Paet Riu, so when you order seafood, the staff will ask if you want the crab cooked or raw. We chose cooked first. The deliciousness comes from the salad dressing, the large pieces of prawns and squid, and the fish roe, which add to the deliciousness.
On weekends, traveling near Bangkok is extremely convenient. You can travel without a private car. You can pay respects to sacred Buddha images, walk around the century-old market, find delicious food, or even walk around Robinson's. A short hour and a half drive will take you to Paet Riu, another fun travel destination for us at sookjai Holiday.
