Gu Long Pao, another delicious modern Song Wat shop, opening the legend of delicious century-old buns, whether it's minced pork (salted egg), red pork, or sweet fillings like taro filling, sweet bean filling (green beans, black beans) or steamed buns, including herbal drinks that are ready for everyone to take home. Take it home without a table to sit and eat in the shop.
I went to take pictures around Song Wat Road this time, sookjai holiday, and tried Gu Long Pao buns.
sookjai holiday arrived at Gu Long Pao shop, 100-year-old buns in the evening. They sell very well, so you have to wait 20 minutes for the buns to be steamed (because they were sold out, the shop was about to close, but there were still customers), so I ordered only 3 fillings first: minced pork with salted egg, green bean filling, and black bean filling.
The important thing is the soft dough first. Minced pork with salted egg is delicious, sweet and salty, fragrant with spices. The more you eat it with the dough soaked in the minced pork flavor, the more delicious it is. As for his sweet filling, what I got was green bean filling, black beans, otherwise you have to wait for every menu. This one is just the right sweetness, not too sharp. As for the black bean filling, the texture is crumbly and the sweetness is just right as well.
Song Wat Road was built in the reign of King Rama V when Sampeng burned down, cutting along the Chao Phraya River. You can walk a long way to Talat Noi. There are several piers, both for loading sea products and fruits from various sources of production. About 10 years ago, it was a stagnant wholesale and retail source, the location of old shops and companies. There weren't many chic and good shops to sit and play in. Now many girls go for walks and take pictures. Therefore, many restaurants and cafes have sprung up.
